As the Administrator, you have the option of limiting the scope of shipments for an associate company based upon the following criteria: carrier, parties, geographic, cargo type, and traffic mode. Assigning a relationship shipment coverage affects online shipment access and e-mail notifications. You must create a relationship shipment coverage before you can assign one to an associate.
Relationship shipment coverage is defined
by a collection of coverage items in the relationship proposal created
by a company Administrator. Each coverage item may include a combination
of the following shipment criteria: carrier(s), party type and name(s),
origin/destination pair(s), cargo type(s), and traffic mode.
From My CargoSmart Center:

Select Go to open the Relationship Shipment Coverage (New Coverage) window

Select Add Item... when all your selections have been made
Tips: Parties, allow you to select to show
shipments with one or multiple parties (party type may be shipper, consignee,
forwarder, notify party, and also notify party). Enter the party information
and add it to the relationship shipment coverage.
Geographical Criteria, allows you
to select to show shipments with one or more origin and destination pairs.
Cargo, allows you to select to
show shipment with cargo that is one of more of the following types: general,
reefer, dangerous, awkward, reefer dangerous, and awkward dangerous. You
can also choose an outbound/inbound traffic mode.

Tips: You may not delete, nor modify, a relationship shipment coverage once it has been proposed or assigned to an existing associate. To make changes to the relationship shipment coverage, first terminate the relationship or withdraw the proposal. Then create a new relationship shipment coverage and submit a new proposal with the newly assigned coverage. You must complete your new proposal submission and negotiation process with your associate before the new relationship shipment coverage becomes effective.
You may view a list of all your relationship shipment coverages. You will see the following information: coverage name, assigned associate(s), status, and effective period.

Relationship shipment coverage can be assigned
to associates with online shipment viewing rights and/or e-mail notification
rights. Relationship shipment coverage will limit the scope of shipments
shared through relationships. You may assign a particular relationship
shipment coverage to multiple associate relationships. You may not assign
a relationship shipment coverage to an active relationship. Instead terminate
the relationship, and create a new proposal with a newly defined relationship
shipment coverage.
