Manage User Shipment Coverage

As the Administrator, you have the option of limiting the scope of shipments for each user in your company based upon the following criteria: carrier(s), parties, geographic, cargo type, and traffic mode. Assigning a user shipment coverage affects online shipment access and e-mail notifications.

Create User Shipment Coverage  

You must create a user shipment coverage before you can assign one to a user.

Tips: Parties, allow you to select to show shipments with one or multiple party types (shipper, consignee, forwarder, notify party, and also notify party). Enter the party information and add it to the user shipment coverage.

Geographical Criteria, allows you to select to show shipments with one or more origin and destination pairs.

Cargo, allows you to select to show shipment with cargo that is one or more of the following types: general, reefer, dangerous, awkward, reefer dangerous, and awkward dangerous. You may also Choose an outbound/inbound traffic mode.

Tip: You may delete a user shipment coverage that has been assigned to an existing user.

View User Shipment Coverage List

You may view a list of all your user shipment coverage. You will see the following information: coverage name, assigned user name(s), and user ID(s).

Assign User Shipment Coverage

User shipment coverage can be assigned to company users with online shipment access and/or e-mail notification rights. User shipment coverage will limit the scope of shipments for these users. You may assign a particular user shipment coverage to multiple users within your company. A user shipment coverage must be assigned from the user profile page.

Tips: You may view the details of a particular user shipment coverage by selecting Manage User Shipment Coverage. You may also create a new user shipment coverage by selecting Add New Coverage and then select Go to open the Add New User window Step1.
